BIO for INTRODUCTION

Jeanne brings to ___(conference name)____ the success of various leadership roles in nonprofit and for-profit enterprises with a particular expertise in eLearning, Internet marketing, and strategic planning. Ellipsis Partners provides strategic consulting to organizations on their discovery, decisions and deployment of Internet technologies. Prior to Ellipsis, Jeanne was President/CEO of an Internet company that built online communities for nonprofits/associations.

As Director of Program Design for the Caliber Learning Network, Jeanne led instructional designers, web developers, and television producers to create an integrated, multi-platform approach to distance learning. Under her management, the design team was awarded "Best Distance Learning Program for Corporate Audiences" and the company was recognized as the "Most Significant Advance in Distance Learning," in 1998. As the Information Systems Director at the American Association of Retired Persons, she led the full range of I.S. services including systems analysis, strategic planning, technology research, technical training, and help desk services. Before AARP, Ms. Allert was the designer of technical training courseware for the U.S. Intelligence Communities.

Jeanne has also served as Adjunct Professor for the Loyola College in Baltimore and guest lecturer at the George Washingtion University teaching on eMarketing and guest faculty at the University of Connecticut on eGovernment. She is an international public speaker and frequent contributor to industry publications. She was named "One of the Top 100 Women in Computing" by McGraw Hill Publishers and awarded the title of "Outstanding Woman of Technology" in Washington, D.C. She holds a Masters in Education and a Bachelors in English. She began her professional career as a public school teacher. Please welcome, Jeanne Allert.

  • LCD projector
  • Lavalier mic preferred (not handheld or stationary)
  • Back table for handouts, collateral
  • The room should be arranged classroom style

For pre-conference or in-house workshops, please provide:

  • Podium or speaker table
  • LCD projector
  • Lavalier mic preferred (not handheld or stationary)
  • Flipchart and markers (Post-It flipchart paper preferred)
  • Back table for handouts, collateral
  • The room should be arranged in small rounds, 6-8 people per table
