Requirements for consultants and freelance contractors for Ellipsis Partners:

Prior experience working in or with not-for-profit organizations, including but not limited to associations, charities, professional societies, clubs, educational institutions or trade groups;

Strong Internet experience beyond personal use, to include proficiency with Internet terminology, wide use of Internet tools, and skilled in Internet-based research

A specific skill set or aptitude in at least one of our core service areas:

Delivering engaging, articulate presentations on new technologies. Briefing senior executives on the potential of Internet technologies for their business and their industries
Faciliating client's understanding and decisions about key Internet applications including eMarketing, eLearning, eGovernment, eCommerce, etc.
Performing industry scan, market research, constructing and analyzing market surveys, facilitating focus groups or informational interviews
Gathering technical and design requirements and fashioning them into Request for Proposals or strategic recommendations
Serving as a temporary webmaster for client sites, monitoring usage, updating content, and recommending actions for site improvement.
Supporting data entry, or basic HTML to convert new or existing web content into content management systems.

Ability to communicate to individuals and groups in a logical and compelling way, including persuasive presentation skills and the ability to define abstract ideas to practical and functional business applications and strategies

Proven ability to identify, develop and close business opportunities with existing clients

Possess the self-discipline to work in a virtual company setting, including home-based office and mobile computing
