The Samaritan Women  (www.thesamaritanwomen.org ) – Ellipsis Partners provides primary financial support and on-going volunteer support to this transitional residence for young women recovering from abuse, addiction or other life crises.

Kristus Way (http://kristusway.org/ ) – Steve spent two months as an in-country volunteer and project manager for the Philippines/Cambodia mission; Ellipsis Partners provided financial support.

Volunteering

ASAE/The Center for Association Leadership (www.asaecenter.org) - Jeanne participates on the steering committee to define the 2007 Technology Conference.

Our Daily Bread (www.catholiccharities-md.org/Community/ourdailybread.html) – Jeanne and her daughter serve regularly at the Baltimore-based soup kitchen and area always scouring yard sales and thrift stores to collect children’s books that can be donated to Our Daily Bread.

First Lutheran Church (www.firstlutheranEC.org) – Jeanne is adult education coordinator, a member of the Evangelism Committee, and the Prayer Ministry coordinator.

Canaan Valley Ski Patrol ( www.CVSP.org) - Becky is a volunteer ski patroller in West Virginia. Patrol members support the skiing public through emergency care and transport as well as instruction on how to safely enjoy snow sports and the winter, outdoor environment. In addition, the patrol supports local charities through their fundraising efforts.

Katrina Relief Jeanne collected cleaning supplies and house wares as part of a “Fill the Truck” campaign to support relief in Biloxi, MS.

Union Bethel AME Church (/www.unionbethelamec.org/) T’lia is very active in her church where she serves as Co-president of the Cradle Roll ministry and Director of the Acolytes Ministry.

Kids for Peace Camp Jeanne opened her home to several teenagers from Brazil who came to the U.S. on a 3-week peace and friendship mission.

Beagle Rescue (www.brewbeagles.org) - Becky and her family provide a foster home for beagles that are waiting on adoption. They are proud to have a BREW Beagle, Flash, as a permanent member of their family.

Penn North Clinic – Ann volunteers her services as an Acupuncturist to support the treatments of addicts.

George Washington University Women Entrepreneurs Program – Jeanne has served as mentor and guest lecturer and was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2004.

Ellipsis Partners as a company donates its professional talents to nonprofit organizations to further their adoption and use of Internet technologies.

Pro Bono Work

American Society of Association Executives – Member of the faculty for the Center for Association leadership, publish several times a year in their industry publication; provide educational session leadership and facilitation; held leadership roles in various committees

First Lutheran Church – Led church through a market study and site redesign; designed and conducted a membership survey; created economies by moving to a new host and using freeware Web applications

Maryland Association of Nonproft Organizations – Provided several educational programs to members on ecommerce, IT strategy, and online donations

Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) – Former member of the board and speaker at several education programs

YouthNOISE (Save the Children) - Provided strategic consulting for web efforts of this start-up nonprofit serving youth advocates. Designed and facilitated a national youth focus group for web design and continued to guide the organization through its technology planning efforts.
