Representatives from more than 50 community-based organizations attended this inaugural conference designed to help nonprofit organizations improve the quality of services they provide. Jeanne Allert and Dina Lewis led this interactive workshop that offered practical strategies for integrating technology into organizational communications plans enabling nonprofits to reach a larger audience. We discussed industry best practices for using both email and the Web, and provided a showcase of examples of how community-based organziations are using these tools effectively.
